Veriu Broadway feels less like a hotel and more like borrowing a mate’s stylish city pad. You’re in Ultimo, where uni kids spill out of lecture halls, cafés hum with flat whites and the city’s grit still lingers on the edges. Dogs fit right into the mix – staff don’t blink when you wander in with a lead in one hand and your overnight bag in the other. - Parking: Guests can park at Broadway Shopping Centre for $45 per 24 hours. You’ll need to purchase a discounted exit ticket from reception at check-in and confirm how many nights you’ll be staying. Note it’s a single-use ticket – no multiple entries. Street parking in Ultimo is scarce and heavily metered, so this is your best bet.
- Transport: This is one of Sydney’s most connected spots. Central Station is about a 10-minute walk, with buses running along Broadway to the CBD and Inner West. Most of the neighbourhood is best explored on foot – you’re minutes from Victoria Park, Broadway Shopping Centre, and Chippendale cafés.
