Colourful, a little bit quirky and right by the Cross – Hotel Indigo Potts Point gives pups a proper welcome with parks, cafés and people-watching on tap.

Hotel Indigo Potts Point has personality in spades – colourful interiors, leafy streets, and the buzz of the Cross just around the corner. It’s boutique style with a little edge, perfectly placed for city walks, café stops and people-watching with your dog by your side.

Dog Friendly Features at Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point

Pet Fee & Packages

Pets are welcome when booking the hotel’s Pet Package. One dog per room, up to 30kg, is included in the rate. Service animals are always welcome at no charge.

Pet Rooms

Pet access is tied to specific rooms booked under the Pet Package. These are standard guest rooms with easy layouts suited for stays with a dog.

Price

$$ – Boutique chain. Indigo sits in the mid-range bracket – more polished than budget hotels in the area, but priced below Sydney’s five-star CBD stays.

Pet Policy

One dog per room, max weight 30kg. Dogs must be accompanied in public areas and can’t be left alone in the room.

Welcome Amenities

No set extras are advertised, so best to bring your own bed, bowls and treats. The package is more about permission than pampering.

Green Spaces Nearby

Fitzroy Gardens and Embarkation Park are both a short walk away and great for daily walks, with Rushcutters Bay Park just beyond for longer outings.

Staff Friendliness

Staff are used to welcoming pets under the package – expect a straightforward check-in and a relaxed vibe about having a pup around.

Our Take

Hotel Indigo Potts Point is more about location and character than perks. The leafy streets and village vibe make daily dog walks easy and with Rushcutters Bay Park close by, you’ve got space to stretch out. The pet policy is simple and fair, even if the package doesn’t add much beyond access – it’s a good choice if you want a boutique stay that puts you and your pup in the middle of one of Sydney’s most walkable neighbourhoods.

Staying at Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point

Hotel Indigo Potts Point feels like a boutique bolthole with a splash of colour. The design nods to the area’s past, with bold murals and playful interiors balanced by the building’s Art Deco bones. Rooms are compact but comfortable, with enough space for you and your dog to settle in after a day exploring. The neighbourhood does a lot of the heavy lifting — leafy streets, corner cafés and harbour views are all within walking distance. While the Pet Package is light on extras, the check-in is fuss-free and staff don’t blink when a dog trots through the lobby, which makes the stay feel easy from the start.

Why We Recommend Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point

Because staying here puts you in the middle of Sydney’s village-meets-harbour pocket. Start with a stroll to Fitzroy Gardens or Embarkation Park, head downhill to Rushcutters Bay for a bigger run, or wander along the foreshore past Woolloomooloo to the Royal Botanic Gardens. History buffs can detour to Elizabeth Bay House, while café lovers have some of the city’s best brunch spots within a few blocks. The hotel itself is simple on the pet front, but the neighbourhood does all the heavy lifting.
